Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving everyone. I hope that everyone is spending the day with family and friends. This postcard is from Allison in Texas. She has used a couple of different fabrics, a variety of stitches and a fun finish on the edge.

Convergence Quilt

I made this wall quilt from "Convergence Quilts" by Ricky Tims. It is one of the first ones in the book so it is fairly simple. I have made a couple of them and I think it is time to move on to some of his more complicated designs. I love the way the colors play with each other as they converage and the surprises that happen.

Happy Halloween

This postcard was made by Christi, in Illinois. She and I are in a postcard exchange group. I really like the design and how she finished the edge of the postcard. The back of the postcard has a fun "spooky" fabric on it .

I do love pumpkins!

This is a felt quilt that I did for the Joggles class that I am taking. Up until this afternoon I didn't care for the way it was coming together. When I put the dark border on, I finally liked it.

May it all be "treats"

This card comes from Linda in Maryland. Linda and I are involved in a postcard exchange group and this is the second card I that she has sent me. Linda did some nice stitching on the background and then added some cute Halloween characters.

Fall Table Runner

I decided I need something "fallish" for the dining room table . I made this little runner, it measures 8" x 22". It has some little pumpkins and candles sitting on it. Fall has become my favorite time of year, instead of summer. Must be an age thing.
