Mendenhall Glacier
Juneau, Alaska
Juneau, Alaska
We arrived home from Alaska last night. For the last 8 days we have been helping to build two cabins at the Eagle Creek United Methodist Church Camp. We did take some time off to do a little site seeing and to help serve a barbecued meal to 700 people on the 4th of July. We had a great time and came home tired, a little bruised and mosquito bitten, but would be glad to go back next year and work on a different project.
Above is a picture of the famous Mendenhall Glacier. It is melting over 200 hundred feet a year now.
I will share more of my trip in the next few days as I unwind a bit.

Welcome Home Jacq - this is a great pic. more, more, more. You were missed terribly. Sounds like your missions trip was wonderful. 700 people dinner-i guess you could call yourself a "missionary cook" now.
Again, Welcome Home.
Welcome Home! I look forward to seeing more pics and reading about your trip. I missed you. Good to have you back.
