Fabric-paper

This is a postcard that is made with fabric-paper. I started with several pieces of muslin and glued assorted papers and tissue papers to them. The glue was a diluted white glue. I then added paints, inks and markers. After every thing was dry (12 to 24 hours) I did some rubber stamping. I cut the different colors of fabric-paper up and sewed it together into postcards.

I like the techniques you used on this postcard, Jacq! Thanks for the mini class. Great!

You've got to be kidding! This sounds more like a lifetime project than a postcard......Hey Jacq, you know I'm just joshing. I have to admire anyone with the patience to do all this. The end does justify the means. This card is beautiful. Love from Mom and Me.

This would make a perfect swap and force me to try it! I was out of town over the holidays. Linda
