Peony

The Peonies in our yard are now blooming and they are very beautiful. The picture above is a Peony that is 9'' across. Every year it is fun to how much bigger they grow. The Rhododendrons in our garden have finished blooming,. We have 21 plants and the month of June the color in our yard is amazing.

This is amazing, they are so beautiful and I remember the scent. When I was a child we had them in the garden and my mother put them in a vase in the livingroom :)

This peony is gorgeous. It reminds me of stories my hubby tells about an elderly neighbor woman that would allow him to pick one flower to take to his mom. Thanks for the memories. I can imagine the fusion of color in your yard.

Dear Jacq, 21 Rhododendrons!!! I can see the color wonder! But a very wonderful flower is your peony. I believe I had in my last garden the same plant - it was a great peony and I hope to find another of this species for my garden.
Wish you a great weekend Wurzerl

Gorgeous photograph. I love Peonies, they are just such happy, romantic blooms with an incredible fragrance. I wish this picture could give off the scent, like its begging to!
