Fabric Journal
I am taking a journal making class from SueB. It is a five week class and this is our first journal. I used a fabric with wine bottles for the outside of the journal. I then added some ribbon. The button looks like the end of a cork and covers the velcro closure.
The inside of the journal is lined with a fabric that has grape vines on it. The pocket is fabric with wine corks on it. I have used several things to embellish the pages. There are antique wine labels, wine related stickers and stamps on the pages. Sue also had us put a couple of pockets in the journal to hold loose things. Monday we will get the instructions for our next journal.

What a brilliant theme and I just love the fabrics,you even found some wine corks. I think that Sue is so good, I wish I had the time to join you.
