I stitched this Hardanger embroidery awhile back. It is one of my favorite pieces that I have done. Hardanger is originally from Norway and has become popular around the world. The big challenge is to stitch all the way around the doily and come back to hole that one started on. This measures 8" x12". I have it on chest of drawers in our guest bedroom. I buy most of my stitchery supplies from Nordic Needle.

Dear Jacq, wonderful, excellent, great, I love Hardanger embroidery and your white blue one ist so beautiful. It' s my absolutely favourite way to stitch. I did a very similar piece in white and green. This to stitch is like an addiction, isn' t it? One time I post my Hardanger pieces too.
