"Sewer's Journal"

I am taking another classes from Joggles. The name of the class is "Mixed Media Surfaces for the Textile Artist". It is being taught by Sue Bleiweiss. Sue had us make a textile surface that used old sewing patterns. After bonding several layers together we added some color and sew it to a base fabric. We then took our fabric and made a cover to a journal with it. This is a six week class and I think Sue is going to keep us very busy.

Very nice, Jacq. You've taken great classes at Joggles. Nice to see you enjoy your art. And when you share it, we enjoy it too. Thanks for sharing.

I love this journal, I've seen other pieces of work using patterns. You did a great job. Is this a keeper or a gift?

very cool! Can't wait to see what else you do in that class. The title of the class sounds right up my alley too.
