Mt. St. Helens

Today was a beautiful day in the Northwest, cold but beautiful. My daughter Shannon called and asked if we would like to meet and go sledding. We went up to Mt. St. Helens and found a great place to sled. This was Molly's first year to try sledding and she really loved it. Mirella the "old pro" also had a great time.

A sledding grandma?!!! I love it! My kids "tolerate" me when it snows as I drag them out of the house to go sledding (it doesn't snow very often in NC.) My son is more anxious than my daughter who just sighs and says, "oh mom - grow up! - But she still goes and we have a great time.
How awesome you share these moments with your grown children and grandchildren.
