Friday at the Museum

Yesterday DH and I headed north to the Tacoma Art Museum. We went to see the Gee's Bend Quilts. Gee's Bend is a town in Alabama. The women of this African American community have been making quilts for over 100 years and includes four generations of women. The quilts are mostly made from recycled fabric. The designs are bold and colorful. If you get a chance to see this quilt show don't pass it up.
