A good friend has triplet grandchildren, two girls and one boy. They will be a year old this Fall. I thought they needed to have some nice warm sweaters for Fall and Winter. I decided to knit an Aran pattern as I thought is would keep my interest. The pattern is from the book "60 Quick Baby Knits". I used 220 Superwash from Cascade Yarns.

Last week several of us gathered at a friends home neat Clatskanie, Oregon, to do a little yarn dyeing. We set up outdoors right next to field with several alpacas, who watched every thing we did. We did some painting on the yarn and also dipped yarn into dye pots. I came home with six skeins of yarn. Now to come up with some ideas on how I want to use them.
